Thoughts of the blessings of friendships permeate my mind.
The crescent cookie from my Friday night meal with family agrees.
You will have many friends when you need them.
God is our best friend. (John 15:15)
The first one I turn to.
Breakfast Saturday morning greets with balance.
In the most unlikely of places.
The frying pan.
Yin-yang.
God closes one door, and opens another. (Revelations 3:7-8)
We await the next adventure He has planned for us.
With Hope
With Faith
His Plans.
We make plans and God laughs.
God is laughing.
We will too.
Bathing the babe in the afternoon.
He shudders at the cold.
Cries at the uncomfortable-ness of it all.
I tell him this is only temporary.
I hear my heavenly father whisper the same to me.
This is only temporary.
I recall a young girl. Her young love gone wrong.
She was hurt. She was broken.
Her mother wrote her a beautiful poem titled "The Meantime"
We are there.
Now.
The Meantime.
The time in between then and the unknown future.
The time between moments.
Between what we have done and what we will do.
So now we take a step.
A leap of Faith.
With assurance of the things we hope for,
belief in that which we still do not see. (Hebrews 11:1)
And so we venture.
Into the unknown.
All the while being led.
Immanuel.
God is with us. (Matthew 1:23)
Walking us through.
